Declan has been dj-ing electronic idm and playing in live music projects on the european festival circuit scene and in India since 2005. As well as djing, he is also a multi-instrumentalist. in the last 3 years his focus has been on multimedia art projects, which combine electronica with musicians, live art painting, visuals and contact dance.
He has been involved musically in the Goa Contact Festival 2011 and was also the music director of InTouch festival in Goa and in Ibiza 2011. He was also guest musician at the Ibiza contact festival this year.
Declan started the first regular contact jam in Goa in 2007, and still runs the contact jams and workshops with his teacher and mentor Chris Lecher both on land and under water in a heated pool at watsu goa. In goa contact festival 2012 Declan and Chris will be taking dancers on an underwater journey through movement and sound.
Contact dance events have become Declan´s favourite event to play music for… "I love the dynamic flow between dancers and musicians as they inspire each other in a symbiotic ever changing way….and as a dancer and musician I have a unique perspective of being able to tap into both mediums "
